Customers looking for a simple, low cost solution to measure surface temperature and display the reading on a digital indicator or controller should consider the Calex PyroCouple Infra-Red Temperature Sensor, supplied with a Pixsys ATR124 indicating controller.

The PyroCouple is suitable for non-reflective, non-metal or painted metal surfaces and can measure temperatures from -20°C to 500°C. It is available with different optics to suit large, small, near or distant target surfaces.

The Pixsys ATR124 is a dual-setpoint indicator/controller with a bright white 3-digit LED display. The universal input is compatible with all PyroCouples. Software features include ON/OFF control, fully configurable PID with autotuning, and Heating-Cooling PID with a dead band.

It is easy to configure the ATR124 using a mobile phone and the free MyPixsys app. Simply enable NFC and place the phone over the device to get started.

Alternatively, configuration can be done manually using the push-buttons on the front of the ATR124.
