Calex Electronics Ltd is pleased to announce that it has transitioned to employee ownership through the establishment of an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), marking a new chapter in the company’s growth. This move secures Calex’s long-term independence and reinforces its commitment to the people who have shaped its success.The EOT structure ensures that the company is governed with transparency and fairness, overseen by a Trust Board that includes an independent chair.

It also means that every employee now has a collective stake in the business, aligning the company’s future with the passion and dedication of its team.

As part of the leadership succession, Gary Fuller will step down as Managing Director on 1^st December 2025 with Dr Tim Barry assuming the role. Tim has been with Calex for 25 years, including 16 years as Technical Director. After a 5-month handover period, Gary plans to retire. However, he will continue to take an interest in the business by joining the board of trustees.

For Calex’s customers and suppliers, this transition brings continuity and confidence. The same trusted team remains in place, now with even greater pride and ownership in the work they deliver.
